Программа
The International Master in implant dentistry is a program consisting in 4 mono-thematic modules with every module focusing in-depth on a single fundamental topic of implant dentistry.
By attending the complete four modules, participants will learn how to thoroughly master all aspects of implant dentistry; all the Modules offer theoretical sessions, hands-on training on animal and artificial models by the course participants and live demonstrations performed by Dr. Gori on a patient.
The 4 modules were scheduled with an approximate one-month interval, thus allowing participants to learn a structured method and to put into practice the concepts presented before delving into a new topic, without losing the program’s necessary continuity. Participants will also be able to appreciate beautiful Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, in Spring, surrounded by blossoming nature, and in Winter, enjoying the Christmas atmosphere. At the end of the Master program the participants will receive a well-deserved certificate of proficiency in implant dentistry.
You can also participate in other modules of this training programme:
Post-extraction implant placement in the anterior and posterior area. Module 1 (October 28 - November 1)
Maxillary Sinus Floor Elevation - Crestal and Lateral approach. Module 3 (February 17 - 20)
Computer-Guided Implant Placement and Immediate Loading. Module 4 (April 14 - 17)
International Master program in Implant Dentistry. All modules
The price shown on the website is for one module. The cost of all four modules is €10,900.
What you will learn?
The International Master program in implant surgery is a course dedicated to all those dentists wishing to improve their skills and gather deeper knowledge in the following topics:
— Post-extraction implant placement in the anterior and posterior area
— Hard and soft tissue augmentation around dental implants
— Maxillary sinus floor elevation - crestal and lateral approach
— Computer-guided implant placement and immediate loading (total and partially edentulous cases - post-extraction cases).
Ample space is dedicated to hands-on sessions by the course participants on models and to interactive live surgeries performed by the speaker and analyzed in detail before, during and after every clinical phase.
Theoretical program
— Biological principles at the base of guided bone regeneration
— Resorbable membranes: types, indications, advantages and disadvantages
— Non-resorbable membranes: indications, advantages and disadvantages
— Traditional membranes in e-PTFE and the latest generation membranes in d-PTFE
— Use of perforated d-PTFE membrane (d-PTFE mesh)
— Indications and use of titanium mesh: chair side titanium mesh and customized CAD/CAM titanium mesh
— Requirements and types of grafting materials (autolograft, allograft, heterograft, alloplast)
— GBR in horizontal bone defects: different approaches in the anterior and posterior areas
— GBR in vertical bone defects
— GBR and implant insertion: one-stage and two-stage approach
— Pre- and post-surgical therapy
— Step-by-step execution technique using different types of barrier membranes:
- Soft tissue management: design, incision, elevation, passivation and suturing of the flaps
- Membrane management
- Stabilization techniques: titanium pins vs screws.
— Post-operative complications: prevention and treatment
— Long-term results of guided bone regeneration
— Muco-gingival evaluation of the implant site
— Preservation of peri-implant keratinized tissue
— Increasing peri-implant keratinized tissue:
- Free gingival graft
- Strip gingival graft.
— Connective tissue grafts:
- Increasing the biological width
- Improving the aesthetics.
— Coronally advanced flap in implant dentistry.

Dr Stefano Gori graduated in Medicine and Surgery with full marks and honours from the University of Florence.
He trained and perfected himself as a dentist by attending a long series of courses held by qualified teachers in Italy and abroad.
Speaker, in the field of implant dentistry, in national and international courses and conferences and lecturer in the context of 2nd-level Master’s organized by the University of Padua, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome and the Unicamillus University of Rome.
On behalf of the prestigious European Association of Osseointegration (EAO), he held, together with Dr Fradeani, a Master Clinician Course entitled “Aesthetic challenges in implant dentistry. Surgical and prosthetic approach in the anterior area”.
He participated in the drafting and revision of both volumes of Dr Mauro Fradeani’s book “Aesthetic rehabilitation in fixed prostheses” (published in 12 languages).
He deals exclusively with oral surgery and implantology.
He carries out his professional activity in his studio in Florence and Pesaro at the clinic of Dr Fradeani, with whom he has been collaborating for over 25 years.
