Course in Oral Surgery & Soft Tissue Management

In 20 & 21 September 2024, Delta Dent Academy is hosting the next high level course in oral surgery and soft tissue management for all dentists from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and other countries as well. 

The Course will be divided in two modules:  theory part + hands on and the main topics which will be covered during the sessions are as follows:

– From Biology to prosthetic management in immediacy

– CT graft for immediate implants

and other relevant topics.

The course will be leaded by Dr. Ricardo Kern, the well known periodontist which his focus is in demanding discipline of soft tissue design and reconstruction, and Dr. Radoslaw Jadach – first doctor in Poland to apply a pre-orthodontic decortication procedure using piezoelectric device and first created a classification of anatomical indications for the treatment of maxillary sinus floor elevation with access from the hard palate. He focuses on microsurgery techniques and extensive soft tissue reconstructive surgery for the purpose of alveolar implantology.

Topic 2: From Biology to prosthetic management in Immediacy

– Factors that affect the stability of tissues around implants. What may influence bone loss and periimplantitis development around implants
– Provisional design for immediate temporization in immediate implant cases and on grafted sites
– Decision-making process: How deep place implant platform x Abutment design anatomy of emergence profile.

Topic 3: CT graft for immediate implants

– Immediacy in thin phenotypes and recession sites. When, where, and how!?

Learning Points:
1) According to the defect classification, how to approach deficient sites for immediacy cases. Workflow to choose the indicated technique
2) When soft tissue phenotype modification is necessary in the immediacy cases.
3) Key points for long-term bone and soft tissue maintenance. How to build up a strong and healthy peri-implant tissue!
3) How to use the Gingival Condition Cast and the Gingival Impression Index.
