Разработчик набора Terauchi File Retrieval Kit и Yoshi Loop для извлечения сломанных инструментов. Преподаватель Tokyo Medical & Dental University. С 1998 года ведёт частную практику, ограниченную эндодонтией. Автор многочисленных публикаций в национальных и международных рецензируемых научных журналах. Соавтор нескольких глав учебников, включая 11-е издание «Pathways of the Pulp». Лектор национального и международного уровня по современной эндодонтии. Основатель и директор Dental Arts Academy в Токио, предоставляющей продвинутые практические курсы по эндодонтии и эстетической реставрации с участием всемирно известных специалистов.
 

Окончил стоматологический факультет Осакского Университета в 1976.

Получил докторскую степень в области стоматологического материаловедения в Киотском университете в 1980 году. Занимается частной практикой с 1981 года.

Область интересов доктора: аутотрансплантация, дентальная травматология. 

Читал многочисленные лекции по дентальной травме и аутотрансплантации, является автором многих статей и двух учебников, один по травме зубов (1998)  и один по аутотрансплантации в (2000). Книги были переведены на многие языки, в том числе английский. 

Является приглашенным лектором Осакского Университета и Университета Лома Линда с 1998 года. 

Являлся Президентом Международной Ассоциации Дентальной Травматологии (2009 и 2010 гг.).

Сертифицированный адъюнкт-профессор Западного университета в США в 2012 году и клинический профессор стоматологической школы Университета Тохоку в 2015-2018 гг.

 
Член Европейской Ассоциации Эндодонтии, Немецкой Ассоциации Эндодонтии и Дентальной Травматологии, Японского Сообщества Консервативной Стоматологии, Японской Эндодонтической Ассоциации, Японской Ассоциации Микроскопной Стоматологии.
