Essentials of Aesthetics. Analog VS Digital
– Pre-visualisation in Aesthetic Dentistry: Mock-Up or Digital Technology?
– The need for APT as a treatment planning tool.
A well done APT will help the dentist, patient and the technician:
– Work with ease, as patient is motivated throughout the process;
– To notice whether the treatment plan is realistic/unrealistic;
– To communicate with other team members to show what is the desired final;
– To guide orthodontic, periodontal or implant treatment;
– To communicate with the technician easily and allow him work more comfortable indirectly;
– To prep less and preserve enamel;
– To produce veneers with uniform thickness;
– To manage color factor better;
– To save time, money and equipment.
PAULO KANO

Visagismile in 3D REBEL Digital (LIVE)
In this LIVE section Dr Gurel will be demonstrating LIVE on a patient (and may be one for one of the attendees), how to make an Indirect Mock up through the brand new 3D Digital software called the REBEL.
A new Smile Design will be created and tried one of the attendees according to the VisagiSMile proposal.
The protocol for the REBEL will be explained in to full details. Bring your laptops with you.
All you have to do is:
– Make a very simple mockup ONLY on the CENTRALS;
– Make a full face picture of the patient;
– Digitally scan intraorally, and send the 3D STL file to the digital wax up center. Within less than an hour the 3D STL file of the New Smile design proposal will arrive. Then will be 3D printed to be ready for the second day.
