Д-р Алан Багден окончил Колледж Лафайет в 1975 году и был принят в престижную стоматологическую школу Университета Пенсильвании. После прохождения военной службы в Службе общественного здравоохранения США, он был принят в качестве ортодонтического ординатора в Университет штата Мэриленд.
В 1989 году он стал практиковать в клинике доктора Уильяма Уоллерта (Dr. Wallert). Они проработали вместе в течение 10 лет. За время своей карьеры доктор Багден получил признание как приверженец эффективного лечения, он является автором многих научных статей по этой теме.
В 2000 году д-р Багден проводили клинические испытания и исследования, посвященные Damon System и пришел к выводу, что это система является наиболее эффективным способом ортодонтического лечения. Затем он начал тесно работать с д-ром Дуайтом Дэймоном над дальнейшим совершенствованием техники и сыграл важную роль в продвижении использования Damon System в ортодонтической профессии. Д-ра Дэймон и Багден проводят семинары по всему миру, консультируя врачей по правильному использованию Damon System.
Доктор Баден имеет сертификат Американского Совета по Ортодонтии (ABO). Он являлся президентом Ассоциации ортодонтов Вирджинии, Стоматологического общества Северной Вирджинии и Стоматологического общества Фэйрфакс и занимал руководящие должности в Южной Ассоциации ортодонтов. Был награжден Американским колледжем стоматологов за вклад в профессию.
Доктор Багден часто выступает с лекциями в рамках программ ортодонтической ординатуры Университета штата Мэриленд и Детского Национального Медицинского центра Вашингтона, на различных конгрессах и Damon Форумах. Также он проводит офис-курсы, обучение на которых прошли более 300 докторов со всего мира за последние несколько лет.
Он с успехом соединяет опыт 25-летней практики с последними достижениями в цифровой ортодонтии, добиваясь новых превосходных результатов в лечении и привносит свежий взгляд на профессию ортодонта
