Более 37 лет клинического и академического опыта в пародонтологии. Работала штатным преподавателем University of Southern California 28 лет (1991-2019), достигнув статуса штатного профессора. Директор постдокторальной программы по пародонтологии USC (2012-2019). Заведующая секцией пародонтологии USC (2003-2006). Директор престижного Annual International USC Periodontal & Implant Symposium. Бывший директор Laboratory for Immunoregulation and Tissue Engineering (LITE), финансируемой National Institutes of Health. Исследовательский фокус на иммунной регуляции, тканевой инженерии, факторах роста и регенеративной пародонтологической терапии.
Международно признанный авторитет, читавший лекции в более чем 40 странах на престижных конференциях по эстетической пародонтологической хирургии, минимально инвазивным техникам, имплантологической хирургии и применению тканевой инженерии. Разработчик техники VISTA, революционного минимально инвазивного подхода к покрытию множественных рецессий, достигающего превосходных эстетических результатов с минимальным дискомфортом пациента. Служит в консультативной панели Center for Scientific Review of National Institutes of Health. Редакционный рецензент для множественных международных пародонтологических журналов. Член совета Oral Reconstruction Foundation.
