Врач-ортодонт с обширным опытом преподавания в области нейромышечной ортодонтии. Он получил медицинскую степень Summa Cum Laude в Неаполитанском университете в 1987 году и специальность в области ортодонтии и гнатологии в Падуанском университете в 1990 году.

С 1988 года основным направлением его работы является применение принципов нейромышечной терапии в ортодонтии. Он разработал уникальный протокол ортодонтической диагностики и лечения. Придумал нейромышечную ортодонтию как отдельную ветвь ортодонтической специальности в 1994 году (Savasystem).

С 1989 года он читает лекции в Бразилии, Испании, Индии, Бахрейне, ОАЭ, Канаде, Чехии, России, Украине, Великобритании и Италии. В течении 15 лет занимается лечением сложных патологий ВНЧС и челюстно-лицевой хирургией.

Профессор кафедры нейромышечной ортодонтии в Университете Де Вальс, Андорра, 2015–2017 годы. Основатель и президент ICNOG (Международный колледж нервно-мышечной ортодонтии и гнатологии. Профессор магистратуры по нервно-мышечной ортодонтии в Университете Жауме I, Кастельон, Испания.
