Creator of the OCTA concept. Professor Jean-Daniel Orthlieb is an educationist, researcher and specialist in Occlusodontology.

He received his doctorate in dentistry (DDS) in 1978 from the Faculty of Dentistry, Aix-Marseille University, France.

He was certified in Anthropology in 1979, in fixed prosthodontic and оcclusodontology in 1980.

He received his "Doctorat en Sciences Odontologiques" (DSO) in 1983.

He became an assistant with the fixed prosthodontic department in 1985.

He received his "Doctorat d'Université " – University thesis in 1990 (PhD).

In 1993 he was "Maître de conférence des Universités", Chairman of the Occlusion and Dysfunction department of the Faculty of Dentistry of Marseille. In this university, he was in charge of a postgraduate education program in occlusion and TMD and a postgraduate education program in fixed prosthetic.

From 2007, he has beed a Full University Professor.

He is Visiting professor of Donau University.

He was President of the French National College of Occlusodontology in 1995-1996, he is a member of the European Academy of Craniomandibular Disorders.

He was President of the International Academy of Advanced Interdisciplinary Dentistry (iAAID).

He has published 6 books and more than 130 scientific papers about occlusion, TMD and prosthetic.

Research interests: fixed prosthodontic, occlusodontology, craniomandibular disorders.

Certified member of the European Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Renowned instructor in various national and international masters, speaker at international congresses, and author of scientific articles.

Founder and director of the Dental Excellence Center at the "La Prairie" Montreux clinic in Switzerland, specializing in interdisciplinary rehabilitation.

Active member, advisor and treasurer of the Italian Association of Gnathology and Orofacial Pain.

Specialist in TMD, Orofacial Pain, and Dental Sleep Medicine.

Founding Member of the Latin American Academy of Orofacial Pain, Temporomandibular Disorders, and Sleep Disorders.

Member of International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), Brazilian Society for the Study of Pain (SBED), and Brazilian Society of Orofacial Pain (SBDOF).

Graham Woolley worked in general dental practice for over 10 years before commencing his training as a specialist prosthodontist. He obtained a Master of Dental Science Degree in Prosthodontics from the University of Melbourne School of Dental Science in 2003. Since then, Dr. Woolley has worked in specialist private practice, as a consultant for the Australian Defence Force in Victoria and as a Senior Lecturer at the Melbourne School of Dental Science where he was twice awarded the Eggleston Trust Prize for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Woolley currently teaches prosthodontics to postgraduate students completing the Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) course, the Graduate Diploma in Implantology and the Modular Implant Course. He also runs a number of other CPD courses annually in advanced prosthodontics, parafunction and the management of tooth wear. Dr. Woolley regularly presents lectures for the Australian Dental Association and has specialist Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Prosthodontics).
