Dr. Gianluca Plotino graduated from the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, Italy, in 2002.

From 2005 to 2008, Plotino was Professor of Endodontics in the School of Dental Hygiene at the same university, where he obtained his Ph.D. in 2009.

Since 2009, he has been employed in the Department of Endodontics at the Sapienza University of Rome.

He runs his own private practice limited to endodontics and restorative dentistry in Rome.

Dr. Plotino has authored and co-authored more than 70 articles on various endodontic and restorative topics in international scientific peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to four chapters in textbooks and monographs. Plotino has given several lectures, workshops and hands-on courses worldwide.

Plotino is a certified member of the European Society of Endodontology, an international member of the American Association of Endodontists, and an active member of the Italian Society of Conservative Dentistry and the Italian Academy of Endodontics. 

Moreover, Plotino serves on the editorial boards of and is an official reviewer for several journals, and has organized several research groups worldwide.

He graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City in 1989.

In 1993, he received a postgraduate endodontic certificate from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, in the U.S.

Postgraduate courses in microsurgery from the University of Pennsylvania 2016 and in Orofacial pain from the University of Louisiana in 2018.

Recipient of the Samuel Seltzer award from the Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology and Endodontics Journal in 2005.

Ex- President of the Mexican Association of Endodontists. 

More than 500 lectures in 38 countries around the world including the European Endodontic meeting and the American Association of Endodontists meeting. 

84 Endodontic articles published and 3 chapters in the books Irrigation in Endodontics 2015, Atlas of Endodontic surgery 2017 and Endodoncia 2011. 

Graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1984 and was awarded the James B. Willmott Scholarship, the Mosby Scholarship and the George Hare Endodontic Scholarship for proficiency in Endodontics. 

A graduate of the Endodontology Program at Temple University in 1987, he received the Louis I. Grossman Study Club Award for academic and clinical proficiency in Endodontics.

The author of numerous publications, Dr. Glassman lectures globally on endodontics, is on staff at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in the graduate department of endodontics. As Adjunct Professor of Dentistry and Director of Endodontic Programming from 2010-2017, Gary helped develop the dental school curriculum for the Oral Health Science programme for the University of Technology, Kingston, Jamaica.

Gary is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Fellow of the American College of Dentists, endodontic editor for Oral Health dental journal, endodontic editor for Inside Dentistry, Faculty Chair for DC Institute and Chief Dental Officer for dentalcorp Canada

Lecturer in theoretical and practical courses on subjects related to the isolation of the operative field and endodontics, has participated as a speaker at courses and conferences in Italy and abroad. Private practice, concentrating mainly in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry and author of publications on journals of national and international sector.
