Профессор оральной физиологии и клинической гнатологии, специализирующийся на височно-нижнечелюстных расстройствах и бруксизме. Полный профессор на кафедре медицинских биотехнологий Университета Сиены, Италия, с 2017 года.
Более 25 лет клинического и исследовательского опыта в диагностике и лечении ВНЧС. Ранее работал доцентом и координатором исследовательских проектов в клинике ВНЧС, отделение челюстно-лицевой хирургии, Университет Падуи (2006-2016). Признан на международном уровне одним из ведущих авторитетов в исследованиях и управлении бруксизмом.
Международный лектор, преподававший на более чем 50 крупных конференциях по всему миру. Редактор учебника «Современные концепции височно-нижнечелюстных расстройств» (Quintessence Publishing, 2010) с вкладом 45 всемирно известных экспертов.
DDS Университета Пизы, Италия. PhD по стоматологии из ACTA Амстердам (2011), диссертация «Треугольник: бруксизм, боль и психосоциальные факторы» под руководством профессора Франка Lobbezoo. Специализация по ортодонтии Университета Феррары (2017). Дипломат Американского совета по орофациальной боли (2021). Автор более 300 публикаций в журналах, индексируемых Medline, с индексом Scopus H-index 40. Активный член Европейской академии орофациальной боли и дисфункции (EAOPD).
