Over 30 years of specialized clinical and academic experience in nonsurgical and surgical endodontics. Research focuses on irrigation protocols, root canal disinfection, retreatment of endodontic failures, and orofacial pain management. Expert in microscope-enhanced endodontics and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) applications for complex case diagnosis.

Scientific Advisory Board Member for the Journal of Endodontics (American Association of Endodontists), International Endodontic Journal (European Society of Endodontology), and Giornale Italiano di Endodonzia. Former President of the Mexican Association of Endodontists. Recipient of the Samuel Seltzer Award for excellence in endodontic research from the journal Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology and Endodontology (2005).
