Dr. Plotino окончил Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore в Риме, Италия, в 2002 году.
С 2005 по 2008 год был профессором эндодонтии в Школе стоматологической гигиены в том же университете, где получил степень доктора философии в 2009 году.
С 2009 года он работает в Департаменте эндодонтии в Римском университете Сапиенца.
Он руководит собственной частной практикой, ограниченной эндодонтией и реставрационной стоматологией в Риме.
Dr. Plotino является автором и соавтором более 70 статей по различным эндодонтическим и реституционным темам в международных научных рецензируемых журналах и внес вклад в четыре главы в учебниках и монографиях. Dr. Plotino дал несколько лекций, семинаров и практических курсов по всему миру.
Является сертифицированным членом Европейского общества эндодонтологии, международным членом Американской ассоциации эндодонтов и является активным членом Итальянского общества консервативной стоматологии и Итальянской академии эндодонтии.
Более того, Dr. Plotino работает в редакционных коллективах и является официальным рецензентом для нескольких журналов и организовал несколько исследовательских групп по всему миру.
