Более 45 лет клинического опыта в сложных эндодонтических случаях, включая микрохирургические процедуры под операционным микроскопом и ведение сложных анатомий корневых каналов. Прошел обучение в Школе последипломной стоматологии Бостонского университета (1978-1980) под руководством профессора Герберта Шилдера. Госпитальный консультант в течение 15 лет, специализирующийся на эндодонтических осложнениях.
Международный лектор, преподававший в более чем 60 странах мира с 1985 года. Основатель и президент Клуба изучения теплой гуттаперчи и директор Центра микроэндодонтического обучения во Флоренции. Главный редактор Endo Tribune. Опубликовал более 60 статей в международных научных журналах.
MD Флорентийского университета (1973). Стоматологическая специализация Флорентийского университета (1977). Ассистент профессора эндодонтии в Школе стоматологической медицины Генри М. Голдмана Бостонского университета, Университете Кальяри и Университете Брешии. Профессор микрохирургической эндодонтии в Университете Федерико II в Неаполе. Автор трехтомного учебника «Эндодонтия» и «Хирургическая микроэндодонтия» (издательство EDRA), переведенных на множество языков. Бывший президент Итальянского эндодонтического общества (S.I.E.) и Международной федерации эндодонтических ассоциаций (I.F.E.A.). Активный член Европейского общества эндодонтии (E.S.E.) и Американской ассоциации эндодонтистов (A.A.E.).
